リフォームのきっかけ

県外に在住でしたが、自己所有の物件と、空き家になっていた実家と使用していない空き家を合計３件所有していました。空き家を3件管理するのは大変で、売却するか、賃貸にするかなど検討し、今回２件は売却して、定年後のリターンに向けてもともと実家だった家をリフォームして住環境を整えるという方向性がきっかけでした。

お客様のご要望

築年数約50年経過の為、昔の生活様式のままで畳の部屋が多く、住まい全体は断熱材が入っておらず寒く、窓や配管の老朽化はもちろん老朽化が目立つ。
イメージを一新して畳コーナーや飾り棚、デザインにもこだわりたい。
スケルトンにして老後夫婦2人が１階だけで快適に生活できるよう寝室も１階に設けバリアフリーにしたい。

こだわりポイント

構造の柱は生かしたまま、スケルトンリフォームをすることで間取変更、古い電気配線の交換、配管の入替、基礎の部分補強、そして断熱リフォームを行った。見せる収納（パソコンコーナーや洗面の可動棚）や隠す収納（パントリーやウォークインクローゼット）など収納ゾーンを使い分けた。またデザインとして玄関や洗面のアクセントにモザイクタイル、エコカラットや間接照明などで演出したり、オーダーの造作家具を採用した。県外在住ということで、お打合せの回数は少なく、メールでのやり取りが頻繁でしたが、その分こだわりの部分を何度ものやり取りしたり、回数を重ねて打ち合わせができた甲斐もあり、最後ご満足いただける仕上がりになった。

お客様のコメント

1階だけで暮しが完結する造りになっているので、今だけでなく、老後を見据えた間取りにとても満足しています。これからリターン後の生活に友人を招いての集まりが今から楽しみです。住まいは定期的にメンテナンスが必要になるので、困った時に網戸取替１枚でもいつでも駆けつけてくれる存在は有難く、これからもよろしくお願いします。
