リフォームのきっかけ

築31年で水廻りの経年劣化が気になっていました。リビングの大きな窓からの近隣の視線が気になり、いつもカーテンをしなければいけず、部屋も暗く落ち着かなかったので、視線を気にせず落ち着けるリビングにしたかったのがきっかけです。ペットのトイプードルと一緒に快適に過ごせるようにもしたかったです。

こだわりポイント

窓の位置を工夫し、近隣側の窓は上部に取り付け、視線が気にならないようにし、採光用の大きな窓は庭側に取り付けました。リビングでくつろいで頂くために、仕事からプライベートへの切り替えをリビングを通らずにできるよう、玄関から水廻りに行け、着替えなどもできるファミリークロークを裏動線として作りました。ここは洋服や日用品がたっぷり収納できるスペース兼、水廻りへの通路となり、家事動線も楽になりました。トイプードルのゲージ置き場をリビングの中心に持ってくることで、家族がどの場所にいても気配を感じられるようにしました。

ファミリークローゼットがこんなにも便利なのかと感動しています。朝や帰宅後の支度にも便利だし、収納もたっぷりあるので、リビングがすっきり片付きます。今まではとても寒かったのですが、リフォーム後はエアコンのみで快適に過ごせるようになりました。ペットも家族の一員として、ペット用の床材やゲージの位置など、一緒に過ごしやすいように考えてもらえたのが嬉しかったです。明るくて、広々としたリビングを中心にこれからも安心して暮らせる家になり、大満足です。
