リフォームのきっかけ

キッチンの流し台が古くて使い勝手が悪く、リビングのサッシも変えたいことが最初のきっかけです。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　６帖前後のリビングと和室が３部屋並んでいる間取りでは、自分たちのくつろぐ居場所がないと以前より感じていたので、これを気に改善したいと思いました。世代が違えば見たいテレビも違い、誰かが我慢しなければならない状態で、できればみんなで憩える部屋が欲しいと思ってました。またキッチンが独立していて、食事の内容も違うので、それぞれに食べるスタイルになってました。

キッチンの流し台が古く使い勝手が悪く、また独立しているため料理中も片付けるのも孤独感があり、苦痛であるため居場所が欲しい。
これからの生活を家事ラクにしたい。

こだわりポイント

おじい様が大事にしてきたおうちで、こだわりも多く悩みましたが、キッチン改装をきっかけに居間として使っておられた3部屋並びの和室をLDKに改装する提案をさせて頂きました。仏間や階段をそのままにして和のイメージを残しました。リビングの中心の床にはカラー畳、壁には珪藻土を塗り、お気に入りの茶棚が活かされる空間にしました。床暖房を入れて床からほっこり暖かいLDKです。キッチンダイニングスペースとリビングスペースの間には両サイドに格子を立てて区切りをつくりました。冷蔵庫や食器棚をちょっと隠して生活感を和らげています。

お客様のコメント

大満足です。それぞれ食事をとり、終わると各自の部屋に入る家族でしたが、一緒に食卓を囲むことが多くなり余暇の時間も家族で楽しむことがとても増えました。金曜日の夜から土曜のお昼頃の時間帯が一番好きです。夫婦でくつろいで晩酌してついお酒の量も増えてしまいますが（笑）朝、お庭を眺めながらゆっくり頂く朝食も癒しの時間です。仕事と子育て中心の生活が終わったこのタイミングで、私たち夫婦が家での時間を楽しめる我が家になって大満足です。リフォームしている工事の間も、毎日変わっていく様子を見ていて帰宅するのが楽しみでした。また次のリフォームも楽しみです。
