リフォームのきっかけ

新築時のキッチンの備え付けの食器乾燥機が壊れて直せなくなり、これを機会に、システムキッチンを入れ替えすることにしました。手持ちの家具や、雑貨が映えるシンプルなキッチンを希望。また、背面の壁を取ってリビングからもキッチンに立っても家族の雰囲気を感じられるようにしたい。

お客様のご要望

リビングとキッチンの間に壁があり、抜いてオープンにして広く使いたかったが、筋交が入っていたので、壁は抜けないとあきらめていました。

取りたい壁には筋交いが入っていたので、筋交いを「あらわし」にしてクロスでお化粧しました。
個性的な奥様のセンスに合わせて、クロスも個性的な柄のチョイスとなりました。

キッチンの奥のリビングから見えない壁に可動式のオープン棚を設けました。収納もバッチリで、使い勝手とカワイイ空間で、料理を作るのが楽しくなりました。
