リフォームのきっかけ

老後に向けて1階を改装して1階で生活できるようにしたい。

お客様のご要望

納戸を改造してキッチンを設けたい。
縁側があり、部屋暗い物置になっているので有効に活用したい。また、窓が大きくて寒い。
トイレをきれいにしたい。
庭を整理したい。家庭菜園も楽しみながら雑草の手入れの手間も減らしたい。

こだわりポイント

システムキッチンはシンプルでスライド式のものを採用しました。必要最低限の収納で管理しやすくしたいので大きな食器棚は設けず、可動式のシンプルな収納だけ設けました。寒さ対策として内窓を採用しました。真壁の柱や目透かし天井を落ち着きのある色に塗装し、昭和レトロな雰囲気に仕上げました。縁側の半分を部屋に取り込みLDKに採光を取り入れ、庭の移ろう景色を楽しむこともできます。また残りの半分はペット（猫）対応にして、ガラスの扉で仕切れるようになっているのでリビングにいながら気配を感じることができます。床の間だった部分をダイニングに取り込みアクセントクロスを張り分けることでミニギャラリースペースにしました。トイレは内装と便器の入替でしたが、奥様の好きなテイストを取り入れて白×ブルーのかわいいノスタルジックなトイレに生まれ変わりました。庭は無機質なコンクリートよりも土や緑に馴染みやすい赤茶色で透水性のある素材で地面を固めることで雑草対策を施しました。

古いものを生かすいアイデア、落ち着きのあるインテリアをとても気に入っています。夫婦が同じ空間にいてもそれぞれの好きなスローライフを楽しんでいます。キッチンに立ちながらダイニングやリビング、庭を眺めることができ趣味のパン作りや漬物などを楽しんだりしています。全体的に統一感のあるインテリアをとても気に入っています。
