リフォームのきっかけ

ご病気で車いすが必要になり、車いすでトイレや洗面台が使えるようにしたいというのがきっかけです。道路から玄関までも段差があるので、道路から玄関までスロープを使って移動できるようにし、玄関戸も広くしたいとのご希望でした。

こだわりポイント

車いすでも楽々移動ができるように、個々に分かれていたトイレ・洗面脱衣室・お風呂を一つの部屋にしました。
洗面台は車いすでも使いやすい足元が空いた洗面台にし、トイレ横の壁はクロスではなく、タフウォールというお掃除に特化したパネルを施工したり、車いすの方も他の家族の方もそれぞれが使いやすくなるように工夫しました。また、空間が広くなったので寒さ対策として、壁付ウォールヒートを設置し、窓も内窓の設置や断熱窓に取替えして、快適に過ごせるようにしました。
外部はお庭を壊し、道路から玄関までのスロープを作り、玄関戸も2枚片引きに取替えすることで開口を広くなるようにしました。

段差をなくし車いすでもスムーズに移動できるようになりました。トイレ・洗面脱衣・お風呂をまとめてひと部屋にしたことで、他の家族も広々と使えるようになり良かったです。逆に広くなった分寒さが心配でしたが、断熱をしっかりしてもらい以前よりも寒さは気にならなくなりました。道路からもスロープで移動が可能になり大変感謝しております。
