リフォームのきっかけ

家族が集うリビングが子供たちの成長に伴い、狭くなってきたのがきっかけです。また3人の子供たちそれぞれが子供部屋をほしがるようになり、子供部屋3部屋が必要になったこともリフォームに踏み切る要因でした。水廻りも使いづらくなってきたので、これを機会に新しくしたいなと思いました。夏の日差しが暑いので、暑くない部屋にもしたかったです。

こだわりポイント

店舗併用住宅で、2階が住居スペースなので一般的な住宅よりも面積の制約が多く、間取りに苦労しました。
収納部屋兼物干し部屋になっていたLDK横の洋室を取り込んで、広いLDKにしました。
収納部屋の代わりに、ウォークインクローゼットを作り収納場所も確保。子供部屋3部屋は増築してスペースを広げることで実現しました。
ご夫婦の寝室はまだ小さい一番したのお子様と一緒のお部屋とし、一人での個室を望まれるようになったら、LDKの一部を寝室として区切れるようにしてあります。

お客様のコメント

子供たちはそれぞれの個室ができてとても喜んでいます。ただ、個室ができても広く明るくなったLDKに集まって家族の時間を楽しんでいます。水廻りが新しくなり掃除のしやすさや使い安さが向上したのと、窓を取替えしたので、断熱性が上がったのか、あんなに暑かった西日でも快適に過ごせるようになりました。
