リフォームのきっかけ
手狭になってきた子世帯の生活スペースの位置を見直し、築約100年ほどの古民家を暮らしやすいように間取りから一新したい。
お客様のご要望
- 使用頻度の低い暗くて寒い、日のほとんど入らない和室が多く一新させたい。
- 大家族向けに洗濯物がたくさん干せれるスペースや洗濯物やアイロンなどできる家事スペースが欲しい。
- 家族がくつろげるLDKにしたい。
- 子供の必要なプリントや作品、カレンダーなど掲示物がたくさんあってなんとかしたい。
- タイルの浴室はとても寒く、お掃除がしにくかった。
- 家族が多いので洗面所は朝のラッシュ時は混んで不便なので、洗面は2人が同時に身支度できるようにしたい。洗面と脱衣は分けたい。
- 段差をなくしバリアフリーにしたい。

こだわりポイント
寒さ対策として、断熱改修を施し床暖房にし、窓の位置大きさも見直し断熱サッシを採用しました。
ご家族が多いので間取りの見直しだけでなく動線上に見せる収納隠す収納を確保しました。
LDKはパソコンコーナーやリラックスしてTVを見れるなど家族が思い思いに時間を過ごし程よい距離感で過ごせるようにし、対面キッチンには配膳スペースやカウンターなど家事の合間に休憩できるスペースも設けました。
ダイニングの一角の掲示板はご主人のDIYとの合作で、マグネットで掲示できる工夫を施しています。
大家族が気兼ねなく洗面と身支度ができるように、規格の洗面台と造作のカウンタースペースを組み合わせました。たっぷり洗濯ものが干せるように天井からの昇降式と壁付の竿掛けを設置し、キッチンからの家事動線もスムーズです。
寝室には健康素材の薄畳を設置。大きなクローゼットにはご夫婦の普段使いの洋服、布団がしっかり収まります。床暖房のあるLDKの横なので冬場もあたたかい部屋続きでそのまま移動できるので温度差なく快適です。
