リフォームのきっかけ

普段使っていなかった洋間をモダンな雰囲気の和室に変更しお仏壇を入れるためにクローゼット部分を改装して仏間を作りたい。

お客様のご要望

仏壇を納めたい。
モダンな雰囲気の和室にしたい。
クローゼットには洋服を入れてあったので和室にしても押し入れの中に、服もしましたい。

こだわりポイント

お仏壇は小さめなので、あえて吊押し入れ風に足元を浮かせて、地板を敷き、空間を広く見せる工夫をしました。
押し入れも中は洋服もしまえるように引き戸を開けると中で仕切られております。引き戸、内部もクロスで仕上げ、開けたときにチラリと見えるところも気を配りました。
畳はヘリの無いイグサではなく、色も綺麗なダイケン製の丈夫な紙製の物を選びました。
窓物も併せて、和紙風のプリーツスクリーンを提案して、すっかり洋間が和室へ変わりました。

純和風な和室ではなく、モダンな雰囲気の和室となり仏間もここに仏間があります、という雰囲気がなく自然に納まり満足しております。
併せて収納もたっぷりと取れているので外に物をおきたくないのでその中に納まるので良かったです。
